BUYERS NOTES

Fabulous pale yellow cosmos with striking central white eye. Our plant breeding team took a very bright yellow, but late-flowering Japanese cosmos variety and crossed it with earlier-flowering cosmos with better, shorter habits. The resulting delicate, subtle yellow blossoms of Cosmos ‚Lemonade‚ are produced en masse throughout the summer on short, branching cosmos plants.

Sowing Information:

Sow seed on the surface of a good, freedraining, damp, seed compost. Cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag and place at a temperature of 20-25C (68-77F) until after germination which usually takes 7-14 days.

Growing Information:

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into trays or 7.5cm (3in) pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 30-45cm (12-18in) apart.
