BUYERS NOTES
A unique carrot with low levels of a chemical that carrot fly larvae need for survival. This means they avoid it like the plague. Bad for them, great for the gardener! Heavy crops of slender, richly coloured, sweet carrots are a further bonus.
Sowing Information:
Sow thinly, 1cm (¬Ωin) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart.
Growing Information:
Thin seedlings carefully 5cm (2in) apart, when large enough to handle to further reduce the risk of carrot root fly attack.
Aftercare Information:
To continue the organic life cycle of these seeds, gardeners should follow recognised organic growing methods, avoiding the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides.
