Approximate root length: 13-15cms (5¬Ω-6 inches). Carrot Early Nantes 2 is a fast maturing selection of this superb carrot with medium length roots of good internal colour. Excellent also for a January/February sowing under glass.

Sowing Information:

Sow seeds from late winter to mid summer in drills 1cm (¬Ωin) deep, spaced 30cm (12in) apart.

Growing Information:

As soon as the seedlings are large enough to handle, start thinning them out so that they are finally 1cm (4in) apart. Grow Spring Onion White Lisbon next to carrots as the smell helps deter Carrot Fly.

Aftercare Information:

The last thinnings will provide tender roots just large enough to be used. Harvest mid summer to autumn.
