The Alexander Rose Aluminium Round Parasol with Tilt and Crank 2.7m Diameter - Ecru, Forest Green or Grey is the perfect finishing touch to any outdoor dining set, Alexander Rose's high quality parasols are designed with eight spokes providing superior shape and strength. They are constructed from an aluminium pole/frame and 220-250 gsm spun-poly fabric which has been scotch guarded and PU treated, The polyester fabric is fade, rot, shrink, crumple and stain resistant, removable and are machine washable at 30 C°.
It is easily operated with a simple crank handle and the tilt mechanism allows you to angle the canopy and provide effective shade from the sun.

We purchased the parasol (and the necessary base) from MUGC a couple of weeks ago, just before the spell of sunny weather started. Since then it has been in use every day; probably we have been encouraged to sit out more than ever before! It's very easy to dismantle the "umbrella" section and store this indoors nightly, should you wish. We would recommend the parasol to anyone who wants to enjoy their outdoor space.

I used the parasols once. One of them broke. I have been emailing Peter about this and getting nowhere. I would like you to look into this and see what can be done.

The item itself was easy to use but I mistakenly thought the base was included .As the company were unable to deliver the base because of high risk of breakage I had parasol and no base.I then had to source the base and got it delivered by a another company .Suggest reminder to customer when purchasing parasol that base is not included but necessary .
