We guarantee our products for a period of 10 years from the date of delivery against "rot", provided that the product is treated twice annually with Taylor Brown Wood Preservative. Rot is defined as the decomposition and breakdown of the wood, caused by fungus, feeding on wet, unprotected timber. Under his warranty, we are unable to replace products that have not been treated, or have been treated with an alternative paint, stain or preservative.
The guarantee applies to all Charles Taylor manufactured products delivered on, or after, 1st March 2019. Proof of purchase and use of Taylor Brown preservative is required to make a valid claim.
The guarantee does not cover change in colour or appearance due to natural weathering.
The guarantee does not apply to items that have been modified or altered.
The guarantee does not cover small splits and cracks that occur naturally as the timber ages which are of no detriment to the product.
The guarantee does not apply to defective fixtures and fittings.
Defects, as used in the warranty, are defined as imperfections in the craftsmanship or materials used and need to be reported within 14 days of delivery. Defects reported within the stated time period will be repaired, or the defective item replaced, subject to the terms and conditions.
The guarantee does not cover wear and tear from normal, domestic, and commercial use.
The guarantee does not cover parasols and bases.
The guarantee does not cover our furniture covers , we have sourced our fitted cover range to offer good value for money. It is really difficult to offer a warranty due to extreme weather conditions so please check your cover on delivery.
The guarantee is only valid for the original owner and the original delivery address, as stated on the purchase receipt.
